Urgent Fundraiser for a writer to evacuate Gaza

Hello, my name is Dionne and I live in a town by the sea in the south west of the UK. I’ve been witnessing with horror the devastation in Gaza and the extreme hardship that this is inflicting on the Palestinians who live there.
I am lucky enough to have met Nour online after reading one of her articles. Despite being very talented and working so hard it is still impossible to earn enough to support oneself and extended family due to the inflated prices. It is even harder to evacuate as it costs roughly $5,000 per adult. That is why I have set up this fundraiser, to help raise enough money so she and her family can evacuate to build a better life as they deserve and she will also be able to finish her studies.

Hi, I’m Nour, I’m a Palestinian journalist and writer from northern Gaza. For years, I’ve used my voice to document stories of resilience, loss, and everyday survival under siege. Since October 7, life in Gaza has turned into a daily battle to stay alive, not only from bombs, but from hunger, trauma, and despair.
Like many others, I’ve lost members of my family, friends, and my sense of stability. We live without electricity, clean water, or access to proper food. I’m currently facing malnutrition and its effects on my health. Despite this, I’ve continued writing and sharing stories with international platforms— because Gaza deserves to be heard.
This campaign is a lifeline. It’s my only hope to evacuate safely and continue my studies and work in a place where I can live without fear and finally breathe.
